Liv Schaffer, a Chicago native, is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in the Bay Area. Liv received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and a minor in Religious Studies from Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California in 2013. Liv spent the 2013-2015 seasons performing with DanceWorks Chicago under the direction of Julie Nakagawa, and has spent subsequent seasons with AXIS Dance Company & Robert Moses' Kin.

Liv embraces employment opportunity nationwide: developing integrative curriculum, educating dancers, performing, and creating choreographic commissions with organizations such as Dance Exchange, Jacob's Pillow Curriculum in Motion®, The JUNTOS Collective,  LINES Dance Center, Shawl Anderson Dance Center and Youth Art Exchange
